"Venture Crew 45 " in Boulder City, NV. We are in the Las Vegas Area Council. We do our primary scouting activities in and around the Las Vegas Valley, Southern Utah, South and Eastern California, and Arizona. We are currently planning our Annual Activities.
Annual Activities on the board are:
Supporting our sponsor by working at ICOR, Cowboy Action Shoot, various shooting competitions. We will be facilitating gun safety classes for Troops, Crews, and familys interested in shooting sports and proper handling of firearms. We will still go camping, hiking, swimming etc.
Super Activities on the drawing board are: SCUBA, Snowboard outings (Banff, Canada), National Park Treks - just to see something different.

Welcome to our website
We started this crew in April of 2008, our sponsoring organization is the Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club, www.brpc1.org. The BRPC has a long history reaching back to the building of the Hoover dam. The Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club is a nonprofit organization located between mountains just outside of Boulder City, NV., just 20 miles from Las Vegas.
The BRPC club range was built in 1938 by the Army Corp. of Engineers and features one of the few 1,000 yard shooting disciplines in the U.S.A. If you are interested in joining the club yo can find an applicaiton here, http://www.brpc1.org/clubapp.htm.
Tasks for us as a new Unit
1. Promote Crew and gain some members
2. Create our yearly plan in conjunction with the Council Venturing Calendar and the BRPC Calendar. Crew Calendar.
3. Promote and advertise our program.
All the members of the crew, youth and adults, are constantly challenged to be outgoing, seek training, and adventure. Come join us and be challenged too. Over half of the adult advisors are WoodBadge trained and most of them have even served on staff multiple times. The adults are progressing through additional training by instructing Venture trainings attending Powder Horn and additional National level trainings. As the Adults are focused on training and maintaining a Youth Led Program all the crew members are expected to do the same. "Crew 45 " is not an Adult Led unit. So if you are between the ages of 14 and 21 and are looking for opportunities to lead and show your stuff, you may want to look at our crew.

Things we need that you could help with:
We are currently seeking sponsors for the following:
Clothing: shirts, hats, jackets, shooting glasses (-click me) , hearing protection, Hi-Tec v-lite boots,
Gear: GPS, GMRS communicators (preferably the Rhino), backpacking tents (ultra lite), 2 spotting scopes, various targets.
