So you want to know why you should join?

Why would you want anything to do with:
High Adventure, Camping, Hiking, Climbing, Hunting, Swimming, Shooting Sports
Co-Ed crew that has outgoing young men and women between the ages of 14 and 21.
Because it is a lot of Fun.

Selecting the right crew for you is an important step in your success in Venturing. If you enjoy hiking, dont join crew that does a lot of sailing. Shop around and learn what differnet crews in your area are involved in. Many Venturers, and advisors, are members of more than one crew. Their primary crew may do a lot of hiking and camping but not many community activities so they also join a crew that primarily does community service. This way the Venturer gets to participate in all the things they enjoy with like minded individuals.

What does Crew45 Offer?  "ADVENTURE!"

We are a Co-Ed crew, young Men and Women. We currently have two girls in the crew and one of them is the President.

We are a pretty new crew and we need interested individuals that would like to learn and do High Adventure activities in a safe and fun environment.
We have several Leadership positions open and you may be just right for one of the positions.

We have scheduled a bunch of NRA shooting classes and we will be doing a lot of training for other crews, troops and their families. The crew members will (through practice) get up to speed on how to train many of these NRA programs.

We like sailing but here in the desert we dont get to do too much of it so we will have to travel to go play in the ocean. Of course while there we may snorkel, scuba, fish, and of course sail.

One of our advisors has a great camping and hiking area in Arizona (complete with shooting range) and we take regular trips out there just to get out of the valley. Sometimes is is just a relaxed get away and other times it is a hiking, camping, shooting, outdoor adventure. The crew gets to decide which one they want.

We still do all the scout stuff that makes Venturing such a great time. So if you are in a troop or even a crew and you want add to the range of activities you can do come join us.

If you are new to scouting we have got a great time in store for you. Lots or fun, learning new skills you can use in your work, school, and adult life.

Crew Uniforming

Crew45 Uniform Options:

Crew45 has a Crew Uniform. Consisting of a Shooting Shirt fom Cabellas.com, Grey BDU's from ActionGear.com, Black rappelling belt from yatesgear.com, your choice of hiking or tactical boots (Hi-tech (good option), Itasca (good option), Bates (fair option) )

Our part-time and non-training crew members use the BSA suggested uniform, thsi is also an option for active crew members as they assemble their crew uniform and for adults at dress functions.

We have not selected polos, tee-shirts, or hats at this time.
